The Delle Master Plan
We have the privilege of working with Aranda Lasch, a world-class architectural firm based in NYC. They are developing a master plan for the Delle that will maximize use of the land while reclaiming and repairing the scars left on the land by the decades-old mining site.
Development of the Delle will be determined by fund-raising efforts, community interest, and our blood, sweat, and tears.
While our ideas are big and bold, we would rather build it right, than build it fast. As each of the elements below gains traction, we will add updates to this site.
Onsite Projects
-
The Pond
Bringing water to the desert is a priority for the Delle. Work will begin on a two-phased natural pond project in the summer of 2025.
The pond will have beaches, a small waterfall, and a pier. It will offer a chance to get your feet wet or jump right in for a swim.
The plants will be part of a filtration system that clean the water and help build up an aquatic bio system.
-
The Amphitheater
Named for Paul Stamets, a pioneer mycologist and TDA member, the amphitheater will be a worship center emphasizing worship through music and performance.
The amphitheater will frame the western views including the incredible sunsets, bringing together the natural vistas with world-class performers.
-
The Labyrinth
Part of the Land Art scene connected to the Great Salt Lake, the labyrinth is a four-mile meditative experience at the Delle.
Bring a burden that you leave along your path while you quietly walk the weaving trail. The labyrinth allows for personal connection.
-
The Temple
The open-air temple is a sacred space for worship, journeying, and self-reflection.
Made brick-by-brick with mycelial pieces grown and donated by TDA members, this ever-evolving temple will change with the erosion of elements and the rebuilding of the structure.
Temple building will commence at Equinox 2025.

-
The Butterfly Garden
The Butterfly Garden will be a beautiful, contemplative corner of the Delle that will be an important point in the migration of the endangered monarch butterflies.
Full of trails and plants, the butterfly garden will be fed and fertilized by the mushroom infused biochar of those who have passed on.

-
The Wellness Center
High on the hill is the in-earth Wellness Center. Providing space for worship, integration, connection, and performance, the space will have multiple uses.
Expected to be a gathering spot with incredible views of the West, the Wellness Center can host musical worship, personal reflection, and group connections.
-
The Orchard and Gardens
The orchard and garden space will be 15 acres of fruit trees, food gardens, and green houses.
The fruit and veggies will feed Delle visitors and stock products sold at on-site festivals and at farmer’s markets throughout the valley.
Volunteers will help manage the gardens and orchards.
-
The Outdoor Kitchen
We want the Delle to be a place where people are fed, both literally and spiritually. The outdoor kitchen will be built with that in mind.
Set in proximity to a large shade structure, the outdoor kitchen will be a gathering spot for pilgrims throughout the day.
-
Sleeping Structures
At the Delle, we are experimenting with shade structures. From A-frames, to shipping container units, to concrete domes, and cob houses, the Delle is finding ways to provide short-term housing for festivals and other events.
